Villa and House, BGF: ca. 500 Stuttgart
The main challenge of the project was its location—sharing a plot with an impressive 18th-century villa.
The strategy echoed that of the Schwenk House: to avoid direct conflict with the historic structure, while still asserting a distinct presence. Once again, the approach was to conceal windows and entrance doors, preventing the human eye from easily reading the building's scale. In this case, however, the client was less open to radical solutions compared to the Schwenk House.
[roomz]'s involvement was limited to the initial conceptual phase. This is an unbuilt project.
